Providing you with the highest quality Portuguese language education and cultural experience is of the utmost importance to AEPLE and its member language schools. All our language schools are committed to honouring AEPLE’s Code of Ethics as well as all national and EU laws and regulations.
As a member of The Elite Federation, AEPLE language schools consistently adhere to and surpass European standards of professional excellence. AEPLE demands that all our learning institutions have financial stability, clean, safe and adequate facilities, a student accessible DOS, have veritable and clear advertising, a permanent headquarters and a competent Director of Studies.
AEPLE members must have regularly occurring language courses that provide adequate study material cohesive with the student’s level and linguistic competence. Course syllabi will include all cultural, social and recreational activities in order to maximize the learning opportunity. Upon successful course completion, AEPLE schools must offer students a Certificate of Attendance containing a detailed description of course contents.
Teachers within AEPLE member schools must be qualified, native Portuguese speakers and have previous experience teaching Portuguese as a second language. This ensures that our schools provide the best possible educational experience with a dash of authentic Portuguese flavour.
As well as consistently monitoring student progress, all AEPLE schools must conduct regular student feedback surveys to allow students to express any concerns and/or highlight positive experiences. AEPLE considers student feedback surveys an invaluable tool in ensuring the highest quality of Portuguese language instruction and cultural experience.
